Stacy Countz Criminal Justice Memorial Scholarship

The Stacy Countz Memorial Scholarship was established by the College of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University in memory of Stacy Lynn Countz who died of bacterial meningitis in August 2002. Stacy, the daughter of Mike and Patti Countz, was a sophomore criminal justice major interested primarily in forensic crime scene investigations. Her parents have supported scholarships in Stacy’s name since 2003.
