Danny and Cindy Pierce Family Scholarship

The Danny and Cindy Pierce Family Scholarship was established by Danny and Cindy Perce of Heartfield Florist. Agriculture was embedded in the heritage of the Pierce family and remains a passion in their lives today. The endowment was established to express the appreciation of the Donors for the impact that agriculture has had in their lives and to emphasize the value of a quality agricultural and industrial sciences program at Sam Houston State University. It is the Donor’s intent for the endowment to provide one or more annual scholarship awards at a minimum of $1,000 each to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. Scholarship awards shall not exceed 80% of the earnings of the endowment. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
