Mona Erika Barragan Ethics in Accounting Scholarship

The Mona Erika Barragan Ethics in Business Management Scholarship was established by Robert A. and Mona Erika Barragan in hopes that the scholarship will advance ethics in business management by raising awareness and by awarding scholarships to those who understand and are committed to making a difference in the area of ethics in business management. Bob serves as the Director of the Small Business Development Center at Sam Houston State University. Mona received her BBA in accounting in 1998 and her master of accounting in 2003, both from Sam Houston. It is the Donor’s intent to provide one annual scholarship award at a minimum of $1,000 to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
