Dr. Janet Mullings Victim Studies Scholarship

Dr. Janet Mullings is Professor and Associate Dean for Program Development in the College of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Corrections in 1990, Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology in 1994, and Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice in 1997. Her research topics focus on corrections, lifetime victimization of women in prison, intimate partner violence, and child abuse and neglect. Dr. Mullings is committed to helping students develop successful career paths in the fields of victim studies and victim services.
