John Ernest Drones Huntsville High School Endowed Scholarship

The John Ernest Drones Huntsville High School Scholarship was established in honor of John Drones by Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Sandels. Mr. Drones was a fellow Bearkat and fraternity brother of Johnnie. They were both members of the Theta Rho Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma. Mr. Drones graduated in 1980 with a Physical Education degree. After graduation, he became an Athletic Trainer at Huntsville High School. Mr. Drones passed away at an early age, before his 25th birthday. Mr. Sandles and his wife want to honor John through this scholarship.
