Dr. Clinton Althaus Accounting Endowed Scholarship

The Dr. Clinton Althaus Accounting Endowed Scholarship was established by Carol Lee Sangster to provide financial assistance to students to continue their studies in accounting at Sam Houston State University. Carol Sangster received her BBA from Sam Houston in 1962 and taught accounting at her alma mater for 32 years. Ms. Sangster fought a lengthy battle with cancer until her death in March 2003. Dr. M. Clinton Althaus was a professor of accounting at Sam Houston State University.
