Bryan Holly Hornbeck Endowed String Scholarship

The Bryan Holly Hornbeck Endowed String Scholarship was established by John and Betty Hornbeck in honor of their son Bryan H. Hornbeck and in appreciation of the Sam Houston State University Department of Music. Bryan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from SHSU in 1997. It is the Donor’s intent for the endowment to provide one or more annual scholarship awards to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. Scholarship awards shall not exceed 80% of the earnings of the endowment. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses.
