Carrie Herren Tomlinson Endowed Scholarship

An alumna of Sam Houston State University, Mrs. Tomlinson moved into teaching after graduation. She was actively involved in mathematics education and served as mathematics chair at Waltrip High School. This endowment was established in honor of Mrs. Carrie Herren Tomlinson who taught mathematics for 34 years and retired in 1972 at the age of 60.
