Byrd Family and Friends of SHSU Rodeo Endowed Scholarship

The Byrd Family and Friends of SHSU Rodeo Endowed Scholarship was established by Rod Byrd and Rex Byrd of Huntsville, Texas to express their dedication to the importance of education in all chosen fields of learning and to emphasize the value of a quality rodeo program at Sam Houston State University. The Byrd family have been active businessmen in and around the Huntsville area for generations.
