Chris and Meggan Thompson Family Scholarship

Chris and Meggan Thompson both for Sam Houston State University and in their tenure, they have recognized an increasing need for student scholarships. Chris, a local attorney, began teaching at SHSU in 2018 and Meggan has served in the Annual Giving Office for over a decade helping to raise essential funds for student scholarship and university resources. Together, Chris and Meggan wanted to create a legacy of their own to give back to students who will be future leaders. Their hope is that this scholarship will allow more students to reach their educational dreams and create a lasting impact for generations to come.
