Victoria Brewer Titterington Scholarship

Dr. Victoria Brewer Titterington attended TTU and earned a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. She attended UH and earner a M.S.W. in Social Work. She attended HC and earned a M.S.B. in Business Administration. Dr. Titterington attended TU and earned her Ph.D. in Sociology. She came to SHSU in 1995 as an Assistant Professor in the College of C.J. Dr. Titterington became an Associate Professor in 2001 and a Professor and Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs and Chair of the C.J. Doctoral Program in 2007. Dr. Titterington’s retired in 2020. Napoleon completed his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at SHSU in 2011. As a doctoral student, he worked closely with Dr. Titterington, who served as his mentor and dissertation committee chair. He followed in his mentor’s footsteps and is Department Chair of Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies program. This scholarship was established by Napoleon in honor of Dr. Titterington, his amazing mentor.
