Jo R. Wilson Williams Endowed Scholarship

Jo R. Wilson WIlliams earned her BBA, at Sam Houston State University in 1962. She was born in Normangee, Texas and graduated from Normangee High School in 1958. After graduation from Sam Houston State University, Jo worked for Humble Oil in Tomball, Texas and in 1963 was transferred to Albuquerque, New Mexico. There she met her husband, David H. Williams, who later received his doctorate in electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Jo says: “My education at Sam Houston State has enabled me to make a great life for myself and my family. Helping other students to achieve their educational goals is very special to me.”
