Long-McRaven Endowed Scholarship

The Long-McRaven Endowment Fund has been established in honor of Marianna McRaven Jacobs and in memory of Anna B. Long McRaven and Aileen B. Long.. Nan McRaven attended Sam Houston State University from 1969 – 1973. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in government with a minor in history. Marianna McRaven Jacobs is the sister of Nan McRaven. She attended Sam Houston State College from 1965 – 1969. She received a Bachelor of Science in journalism with an English minor. Anna Long McRaven is the mother of Nan McRaven. She received a Bachelor of Science in education with a minor in music, English and social studies from Sam Houston State Teachers College.
